The team at Futures Probes brings a holistic and intersectional perspective to the world, which greatly enriched our joint workshops. We couldn’t have imagined a better partner and would warmly recommend them to any organisation.
At Waterkant, we have been working with Futures Probes regularly since 2021. They combine conceptual strength with a distinctly hands-on approach to delivery, all at a highly professional level. They always bring original ideas and perspectives, think in a structured way, adapt to a wide range of settings and enable co-creation on equal terms. Anyone looking for critical futures work – whether for a concept, talk, workshop or exhibition – need look no further than Futures Probes. We would vouch for them without hesitation!
The future emerges from the ideas we choose to stand behind. This was exactly what we set out to explore at our 2025 community event: bringing together different perspectives and, with the support of Futures Probes, asking how a digitalised world could become more open, just and diverse. It is motivating to develop visions of the future that offer alternatives to the narratives so often dominated by major tech companies.
Lilith and Kitty have become an indispensable part of the degree programme! Their courses are met with great enthusiasm by our students and have even inspired several master’s theses.
As programme coordinators, we greatly value the proactive, agile, highly competent and refreshing energy they bring – both professionally and personally :)
We are particularly impressed by their ability to translate practical experience into clear and applicable learning. Their work is conceptually strong, precise in its thinking and positioned exactly at the relevant intersection of Strategic Design and Futures Thinking.
We explored futuring as an approach to science communication with Futures Probes, and it proved to be an exciting addition to our work. The process was exceptionally well structured: we always felt that we knew exactly where we were and what would happen next. The team was also very open to feedback, taking our ideas and immediately developing them further in creative ways. This combination of clarity, creativity and genuine thought partnership was a perfect fit for working at the intersection of design and science.
